SUBMISSION OPPORTUNITY: Rolling Deadline
The Fire Dept Theater Company (Jessica Blank, Erica Gould and Audrey Rosenberg, co-Artistic Directors) is still accepting submissions for its upcoming SALON SERIES. We are looking for new plays whose content addresses or intersects with a particular political issue. Plays must be previously unproduced in New York. The SALON SERIES plays will be presented in intimate, warm, non-proscenium spaces and be followed by a salon with a featured speaker whose life experience and/or expertise speaks to the issues raised by the play. The Temple Players is now accepting short plays for its August 2007 staged reading of A BIBLICAL SENSE OF HUMOR, a one-act festival of original plays. Scripts are being accepted through May 1, 2007 (this is an extension from the original March 1 deadline).
