About the Show

Legacy is an original theatre work that tells the complex story of Whitney Channing Sargent's family ties to Mormonism, polygamy, and the state of Utah. Incorporating textual research, personal narrative, video, and movement, Legacy is a true tale of fantastical proportions in which Sargent asks, "What does it mean to be a non-Mormon granddaughter of Brigham Young?"

Performed by Marion Dunham, Celeste Martinez, Tinia Orduña, Whitney Channing Sargent, and Diana Wyenn
