FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY: June 6th Deadline
The Lark and Playwrights of New York (PONY) launch this new fellowship in an effort to provide as comprehensive support as possible to an emerging playwright. The award provides assistance in 3 areas of an emerging playwright’s life. Includes: 1 year of free housing in a brand-new 1-bedroom doorman apartment in the heart of the theater district in New York City, a $2,000 per month stipend for 12 months, and active membership at the LARK Play Development Center which includes a seat in the renowned Playwright's Workshop, led by award-winning playwright Arthur Kopit. Repertorio Español is looking for full length stage plays that are relevant and unique to the Hispanic experience in the United States for their 7th ANNUAL METLIFE NUESTRAS VOCES NATIONAL PLAYWRITING COMPETITION. Winning play will be produced at Repertorio Español. Top five will receive cash awards. Top ten finalists will receive a staged reading at Repertorio.
