1) Second Generation is seeking submissions of one-act plays by writers of Asian-American descent for possible production next year.
Submission deadline: December 15, 2007
Selected manuscripts will receive full production in a proposed four-week run, dates and location to be determined, in the spring or summer of 2008. Authors will receive a stipend and other contractual payment in accordance with Equity Showcase Code (status pending).
Submissions should be original, unproduced, written specifically for the stage, and approximately 10 to 45 minutes long. Previously submitted plays and multiple submissions are welcome.

2) Icicle Creek Theatre Festival in Leavenworth, Washington is seeking submissions for their 2008 Festival of new plays in August.
Submission deadline: February 15, 2008.
ICTF's support to playwrights includes providing professional actors, dramaturgs, rehearsal space, stage management, round-trip transportation, shared resort lodging, meals, and an honorarium of $500. All artists, including playwrights, reside in very large modern cabins. CTF is looking for plays that tell original and compelling stories, and we welcome communication from playwrights with unproduced projects.
